Arte Naif Europeo 2023 en la Galería Éboli
La alegría de los Artistas Naifs llega, en primavera, a la Galería Éboli.
En las caballerizas del hermoso palacio madrileño de La Cruzada, junto a Palacio Real, sede la Galería Éboli, se aposentan los cuadros de estos pintores coloristas, que ponen acentos de vida, sonrisa y gracia, para regocijo de los espectadores y coleccionistas, cada vez más entusiastas de este género pictórico.
Los pintores naifs traen escenas costumbristas, fantasiosas, reales o imposibles, que se traducen en mercados de flores, bailes, parques, jardines, deliciosas fachadas ornadas de macetas y árboles, animales, granjas, oficios callejeros como limpiabotas, fruteros, vendedores ambulantes… Un Madrid surcado por globos aerostáticos…
¿Quién da más? En medio de un arte más matérico y distante, llega el arte naif con su belleza y su ingenuidad, con su color y transparencia de asuntos, con su invitación al disfrute y la cordialidad de la vida… En esta nueva convocatoria de la Galería Éboli, hay un artista argentino invitado, que se ha seleccionado por su excelencia a la hora de pintar. “¡Es buenísimo!”, dice quien contempla su obra. Se llama Eduardo Ungar y tiene preferencia por las escenas del tango, ese baile porteño que tiene arrogancia y belleza en Buenos Aires y allí donde se presenta.
Junto a él, el prestigioso chileno/español Tito Lucaveche; la belga Thérèse Coustry; la graciosa checa Alexandra Dětinská; la francesa Sylvie Marcel; el portugués Manuel Dos Santos Castro… y así hasta casi medio centenar de pintores de diferentes países, con dos obras cada uno, para dar un total, de casi un centenar de piezas a disposición y disfrute de los visitantes.
El festival naif de la Galería Éboli es ya una tradición de veinte años en marcha. Un festival, que cada año vuelve en primavera, porque es cuando florece la Naturaleza, los espíritus despiertan y las pupilas se dilatan para contemplar con asombro tanta renovación y belleza en las obras de arte de los pintores naif que se despliegan por Madrid.
Pintura naif, pintura de ingenuidad y sabiduría al mismo tiempo. Pintura de amor.

In spring, the joy of Naïf Artists arrives at the Eboli Gallery
The joyful naïf artists come every spring to the Festival of the Galería de Arte Éboli in Madrid, thanks to their host, the painter, also naïf, Amalia Fernández de Córdoba. It is an international event and the painters come from Europe, with a guest artist from Argentina.
In the stables of the beautiful palace of La Cruzada in Madrid, next to the Royal Palace, home to the Eboli Gallery, the paintings of these colourful painters are displayed, adding accents of life, smiles and grace, to the delight of spectators and collectors, who are increasingly enthusiastic about this genre of painting.
The naïf painters bring us costumbrist scenes, imaginary, real or impossible, manifesting as flower markets, dances, parks, gardens, delightful facades decorated with flowerpots and trees, animals, farms, street trades such as shoe shiners, fruit sellers, peddlers... A Madrid crossed by hot-air balloons..
Who gives more? In the midst of a more material and distant art, naïf art arrives with its beauty and ingenuity, with its colour and transparency, with its invitation to the enjoyment and cordiality of life?
In this new edition of the Eboli Gallery, there is a guest artist from Argentina, who has been selected for his excellence in painting. "He is very good", say those who contemplate his work. His name is Eduardo Ungar and he has a preference for tango scenes, that porteño dance that brings arrogance and beauty in Buenos Aires and wherever it is performed.
Alongside him, the prestigious Chilean/Spanish Tito Lucaveche; the Belgian Thérèse Coustry; the graceful Czech Alexandra Dětinská; the French Sylvie Marcel; the Portuguese Manuel Dos Santos Castro... and so on up to almost fifty painters from different countries, with two works each, to give a total of almost a hundred pieces at the disposal and enjoyment of the visitors.
The naïf festival of the Eboli Gallery has been a tradition for twenty years. A festival that returns every year in spring, because that is when Nature blooms, spirits awaken and pupils dilate to contemplate with astonishment so much renewal and beauty in the works of art of the naïf painters that are displayed in Madrid.
